As part of our Finance team based in Capelle aan den IJssel, you will contribute to a growing international organization dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives. ## The Role Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and ensuring that financial processes run smoothly? We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient management of our accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, supporting accurate financial administration and helping drive continuous improvement across our finance operations. ## Responsibilities - Manage accounts receivable for several Topcon Sales Branches within the EMEA region. - Support billing clients, verify transactions, and monitor incoming payments. - Assist with monthly closing activities and reporting, and identify accounting discrepancies. - Ensure correctness of invoicing procedures and VAT settings. - Conduct customer account research and analysis. - Prepare accounts receivable reports for local sales organizations. - Hold regular meetings with sales organizations regarding outstanding receivables. - Aid local sales organizations in collecting outstanding receivables and identifying payment issues. - Review and approve new vendor entries in the system for completeness and accuracy. - Process Direct Debit remittances in collaboration with sales organizations. - Maintain contact with banks regarding outstanding international collections. - Assist in financial audits related to Accounts Receivable. ## Requirements - Vocational diploma or Bachelor in Finance/Accounting or a related field. - Proven experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or a similar Finance Operations role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Fluency in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus. - Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and SAP, is desirable. - A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. ## What We Offer - Competitive salary - 13th month salary paid annually in December - 8% holiday allowance - Premium-free pension scheme - 28 vacation days per year - Opportunities for professional growth and development - International and collaborative working environment - The opportunity to contribute to improving eye health worldwide.
