The Role

As an Analytical Chemist in Development, you will be passionate about analytical chemistry, particularly liquid and gas chromatography. Your responsibilities will include developing and validating complex analytical methods for trace-level analysis and assay determinations using techniques such as LCMS(MS), GCMS(MS), ICP-MS, and ion chromatography. You will work both independently and collaboratively to provide analytical solutions, adhering to timelines and goals while applying your problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate complex analytical methods for various applications.
• Utilize advanced techniques including LCMS(MS), GCMS(MS), ICP-MS, and ion chromatography.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet client needs.
• Document findings accurately and maintain compliance with GMP guidelines.
• Proactively address analytical challenges and contribute solutions.

Requirements

• MSc in analytical chemistry with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory (experience in a contract lab is preferred).
• Proven expertise in chromatographic techniques, especially in conjunction with mass spectrometry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work proactively under stress and in dynamic environments.
• Willingness to share knowledge and engage in continuous learning.
