Android Developer - AI Finance Application at Doit

We are seeking skilled Android software engineers to develop the native Android experience for Doit's AI Finance Agent. This position is ideal for individuals who prioritize clean user flows, fast performance, and product quality while delivering reliable mobile features for real customers.

The Role

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for building and shipping Android features using Kotlin. You will create seamless mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services, collaborating with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys. Additionally, you will integrate backend APIs, enhance app performance, and utilize analytics to improve the product.

Responsibilities

Develop and ship Android features using Kotlin.

Optimize app performance, crash rates, loading states, responsiveness, and memory usage.

Leverage analytics and user behavior data to enhance the product.

Implement AI-assisted mobile experiences that genuinely improve user journeys.

Requirements

•

Minimum of 3 years of Android development experience using Kotlin.

•

Strong fundamentals in Android development and experience with production apps.

•

Proficient in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture.

•

Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, edge cases, and user flows.

•

Experience with REST API integration and debugging production issues.

•

Ability to execute quickly, take ownership, and maintain high product quality.

•

Providing app links, GitHub profiles, screenshots, or examples of shipped work is a plus.
