The Role
You will be responsible for designing and developing graph database solutions, optimizing queries, and building backend applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to deliver effective technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop graph database solutions using Neo4j, AWS Neptune, or similar technologies.
- Build and optimize graph queries using Cypher, SPARQL, or related query languages.
- Develop backend applications using Java or Kotlin.
- Design data models for complex relationships and graph structures.
- Build and maintain microservices and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Optimize database performance and scalability.
- Support large-scale data pipelines and integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 8-15 years of software engineering experience.
- 9+ years of experience in Java or Kotlin backend development.
- Strong experience with Neo4j, AWS Neptune, or graph database technologies.
- Expertise in Cypher, SPARQL, or graph query languages.
- Experience in building microservices architectures.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and backend integrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate to Amsterdam.
