Your mission is to ensure that Nexrail has effective technology solutions for its business processes. You will coordinate the implementation of application changes and improvements, working closely with external TMA and maintenance providers. As a member of the IS/IT team, reporting to the IT Director, you will ensure that business application solutions align with the overall IT strategy, architecture, and security. This is a hands-on role, not a people-management position.
Responsibilities
•
Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for digitalization and efficiency improvements.
•
Identify and define business application improvement opportunities by collaborating with business units to document requirements, evaluate solutions, and prepare project specifications. Assist in budget preparation and approval for application-related initiatives.
•
Coordinate the implementation of changes and enhancements, including close cooperation with platform integrators, testing coordination, training, user reference materials, and documentation of customizations.
•
Address ongoing changes to existing systems to meet business needs.
•
Monitor versions of IT platforms to plan for upgrades.
•
Supervise external TMA providers by prioritizing support tickets, monitoring SLAs, and validating the quality of delivered work.
•
Validate TMA and vendor supplier invoices and report relative to approved budgets.
•
Provide long-term, hands-on support to troubleshoot business processes, educating users to prevent recurring mistakes.
•
Expand the role's focus to champion foundational applications, coordinating with operational teams for meaningful business process improvements.
•
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams.
•
Support change management and user adoption.
