In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing sourcing strategies for facility management and other indirect procurement categories in Europe, including waste management, cleaning services, PPE, and office supplies. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs, focusing on delivering value through cost optimization and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage sourcing strategies that align with overall procurement goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and deliver tailored procurement solutions.
• Lead sourcing projects, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Manage supplier relationships to enhance performance, quality, and long-term value.
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supplier landscapes to support decision-making.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and establish a sustainable savings pipeline.
• Support the consolidation of spend and optimization of supplier portfolios across Europe.
• Ensure contracts are reviewed and compliant in collaboration with legal teams.
• Maintain accurate category data, cost analysis, and performance tracking.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, standardization, and process improvement.
• Contribute to risk management strategies to ensure supply continuity and competitiveness.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or category management, preferably in indirect categories like facility services.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree required; certification in CIPS/NEVI or equivalent preferred or actively sought.
• Knowledge of soft and hard facility services (e.g., waste, janitorial, office supplies, PPE & uniforms, building maintenance).
• Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies while managing multiple projects.
• Experience reviewing Waste and Cleaning contracts from commercial and legal perspectives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate and build trust.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends for decision-making.
• Clear communication and presentation skills for engaging diverse audiences.
