Your mission is to ensure effective coordination and implementation of War Child’s Evidence-Based Methods (EBMs) across assigned clusters. You will translate strategies into relevant support for partners, overseeing quality assurance and adaptive learning. The role may involve direct support to specific countries or partners as needed.

We operate in various countries including Afghanistan, Colombia, and Ukraine, focusing on evidence-based interventions to foster children's wellbeing.

The Role

As the Education Senior Specialist, you will maintain oversight of thematic quality assurance for EBM implementation, coordinate thematic support, and ensure operationalization of guidance and standards. You will lead adaptive learning cycles, strengthen organizational capacity through training, and represent War Child externally to enhance credibility and sector engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee thematic quality assurance for EBM integration and implementation by partners.
• Coordinate thematic support and advise on resource allocation within the cluster.
• Lead adaptive learning cycles, ensuring documentation of lessons learned.
• Strengthen organizational and partner capacity in Education EBMs through training and mentoring.
• Build the profile of War Child's EBM Care System externally.
• Contribute to the learning agenda for EBMs, gathering and sharing partner experiences.

Requirements

• Relevant academic background in Education or related field.
• Experience in humanitarian or post-conflict contexts.
• Proven experience in program design and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and MEAL integration.
• Fluency in English; additional languages like Arabic or Spanish are advantageous.

What We Offer

This position is open to internal candidates only, with a locally contracted position aligned to in-country salary scales. Preference is given to candidates residing in operational locations with valid work authorization.
