As we rapidly grow, we aim to create a platform where talented individuals can collaborate on real projects that make a difference. However, our geographically dispersed community faces challenges in staying connected, and that's where your role becomes crucial.

The Role

As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for fostering connections within our community, managing communications, and enhancing our culture. Your creativity and initiative will help bridge the gaps between members and promote engagement.

Responsibilities

• Connect community members: Manage our WhatsApp group, provide regular updates on projects and opportunities, and devise innovative ways to enhance connections.
• Cultivate the culture of For Good Measure: Organize in-person meetups and events (once funding is secured), and create strategies to unite members across different locations.
• Welcome newcomers: Develop onboarding materials, serve as the first point of contact, and assist new members in finding their place and getting involved.
• Contribute to the foundation of For Good Measure: Collaborate with the core team to improve our foundation by supporting funding applications, updating website content, sharing stories, and contributing your own ideas to help the community thrive.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality with a passion for connecting people.
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing needs within the community.
• Strong relationship-building skills, both online and offline.

Nice to Have

• Experience in website development to improve our site (or a willingness to learn).
