In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with mid and senior-level stakeholders across various industries, including utilities, project developers, corporations, and industrial clients. Your primary focus will be to drive sales and close transactions that align with both client needs and our company’s strategic objectives. As a Corporate Sales Trader, you will play a vital role in expanding our market presence by offering a range of renewable energy solutions, such as renewable energy contracts, energy efficiency solutions, sustainability consulting, and carbon reduction strategies. You will work closely with clients to help them achieve their sustainability goals, reduce environmental risks, and optimize energy use.

The Role

Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate clients, including senior decision-makers.

•

Identify business opportunities and close high-value sales transactions.

•

Provide strategic energy and sustainability solutions tailored to client needs.

•

Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics.

•

Collaborate with internal teams to drive growth and achieve ambitious sales targets.

Requirements

•

Fluency in German and English.

•

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent.

•

2-5 years of experience in commodities trading, brokering, or business development.

•

Self-starter, motivated to develop skills and become a knowledge leader in the environmental commodity industry.

•

Articulate, precise, with excellent communication skills (giving and receiving feedback).

•

Climate advocate with a drive to leave the world a better place.

•

Develop leads through business development, cold calling, networking, and IT/Data applications.

•

Advanced Excel skills are considered a plus.

•

Living and working in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
