In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering the Critical Environments infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud services. You will engage in network design and operations to improve the availability and scalability of the CE Network, participate in on-call DRI rotation for support, and manage complex incidents related to network and security systems.

As a Critical Infrastructure Network Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading technical analysis and designing network architecture plans based on business requirements.
• Installing, upgrading, and maintaining network or security hardware and software, utilizing automation and experience with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto hardware.
• Participating in on-call DRI rotation to support network infrastructure services.
• Overseeing complex network or security projects, including design, deployment, and monitoring.
• Managing Layer 3 technologies such as IPv4, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and IPv6.
• Monitoring network systems using tools like SNMP and Telemetry, ensuring compliance with capacity plans and budgets.

Vereisten

• A proven background in network design, deployment, and automation in enterprise environments.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE).
