The Cyber Systems Engineer Project Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the customer with Cyber Security, Systems Engineering, and Project Management. Daily responsibilities include coordinating engineering forums, collaborating with project managers and developers, and representing the branch in budget and performance discussions. You will act as a liaison between stakeholders and developers to ensure project requirements are met, assess contractor performance, and assist in the development of acquisition documentation. Additionally, you will participate in design reviews, produce high-quality reports for senior officials, and develop strategies to comply with privacy and risk management requirements.
Responsibilities:
•
Instantiate, coordinate, and facilitate engineering forums as directed by the customer.
•
Collaborate with project managers and developers for successful project implementation.
•
Represent the branch regarding budget, schedule, and performance aspects in the customer’s absence.
•
Liaise with stakeholders and developers to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
•
Assess contractor performance and provide feedback on program performance.
•
Develop and maintain acquisition artifacts for contractor performance assessment.
•
Assist in creating execution reviews, acquisition roadmaps, and transition plans.
•
Prepare briefings and artifacts for acquisition Readiness Reviews and Engineering Boards.
•
Provide technical recaps of customer meetings with cybersecurity contractors.
•
Collaborate with the customer Lead and stakeholders to execute contracts.
•
Contribute technical input for acquisition documentation including RCA packages and RFPs.
•
Review and update acquisition documents for adequacy and currency.
•
Participate in design reviews to ensure requirements traceability.
•
Assist in developing technical requirements.
•
Produce high-quality papers and presentations for senior government officials.
•
Analyze policies against Federal laws and provide recommendations.
•
Develop strategies for compliance with privacy and risk management requirements.
