The program provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) core and non-core support in Cyber Security and Management to improve the Information Assurance (IA) posture of a National customer. The core capabilities include IA Management, FISMA coordination and reporting, Risk Management Framework (RMF) application, IA compliance metrics, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Defense support. The Delegated Authorizing Official Representative (DAO-R) will support the customer in Cyber Security.
Verantwoordelijkheden
•
Ensure compliance with ICD-503 and customer-specific directives/policies throughout the lifecycle (RMF 1-6) of customer-sponsored assets.
•
Provide risk recommendations based on the overall risk posture of sponsored assets during the Authority to Operate (ATO) RMF process.
•
Manage and track the plan of action and milestones (POAMs) for customer-sponsored assets by collaborating with various security stakeholders post-authorization.
•
Screen new asset requests to confirm sponsorship and identify information system owners.
•
Facilitate System Review Team meetings to ensure new/existing customer-sponsored assets meet project regulations, data type/C-I-A impact assignments, and overlay assignments with customer signoff.
•
Assign asset security controls and impose specific liens on controls not met during accreditor reviews.
•
Ensure customer-sponsored assets maintain their security postures per Continuous Monitoring (RMF step 6) directives and policies.
•
Provide continuous ad-hoc authorization-related support to both the customer and programs.
