A leading operator within the critical infrastructure sector is seeking a Data Center Electrician to assist in the operation and maintenance of a high-availability technical facility. This position is ideal for electrical and mechanical technicians with experience in technical building services, maritime or offshore industry, industrial maintenance, facilities engineering, or critical environments who are eager to advance in the data center sector.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and reliable operation of critical facility infrastructure.
- Carry out maintenance and repair activities across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support uptime targets and customer SLA commitments through proactive maintenance.
- Coordinate subcontractors and oversee third-party maintenance activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and on-call requirements when necessary.
- Assist with project delivery, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, reporting, and maintenance records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce failures and unplanned downtime.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organization, and safety across the facility.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
