The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer for one of our clients in the Dutch energy sector. In this role, you will develop and maintain scalable data solutions that support data-driven decision-making and contribute to the energy transition. You will work with modern cloud and data technologies while collaborating with Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms.

•

Develop ETL/ELT processes and data integrations.

•

Transform complex datasets into reliable and reusable data products.

•

Build and maintain cloud-based data solutions.

•

Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance.

•

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.

•

Work with Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects, and other engineering teams.

•

Contribute to data-platform modernization and cloud migration projects.

•

Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices.

•

Help establish and improve data-engineering standards and best practices.
