Oversee clinical and operational processes to enhance patient health and reduce hospitalizations and missed treatments.

•

Ensure effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.

•

Complete and document monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.

•

Assist the physician during patient rounds, transcribing and implementing orders promptly.

•

Aid in the implementation of anemia management and medication protocols as needed.

•

Adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including healthcare professionals' practice act requirements.

•

Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

•

Provide direct patient care for safe dialysis, as permitted by state regulations.

•

Respond to emergencies within the clinic.

•

Communicate patient assessment results and ongoing monitoring to the physician and team members as necessary.

•

Maintain a collaborative relationship with the Medical Director and physicians.

•

Participate in interdisciplinary team activities for patient assessment and care planning.

•

Assist in orienting new staff as a preceptor or by assigning one.

•

Serve as a resource person and participate in the evaluation of dialysis services, ensuring policies and procedures are current.

•

Support the Administrator in interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and managing disciplinary actions for center staff.
