As part of the Front Row Group, we operate across multiple locations, including New York, San Diego, Hamburg, Bratislava, and Amsterdam, with a team of over 500 specialists in e-commerce and marketing.
The Role
As the Director of Business Development, you will drive the commercial growth of BiA across EU markets. You will connect our world-class capabilities with brands that require our Connected Commerce strategy and Digital Design Systems. You will manage the entire sales pipeline, from identifying prospects to advancing deals efficiently, collaborating cross-functionally to maximize opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Build in Amsterdam's strategic goals.
- Own and optimize both inbound and outbound funnels, ensuring consistent deal velocity and accurate pipeline forecasting across EU markets.
- Deliver sales materials such as pitch decks, case studies, and proposals, maintaining clarity and accountability in deal progression.
- Enhance BiA's sales capacity in line with growth goals by designing scalable processes.
- Collaborate with client delivery teams to identify upsell opportunities, particularly in Connected Commerce and data infrastructure.
- Ensure CRM hygiene (HubSpot) and consistent support throughout the sales cycle.
Requirements
- 7-10 years in outbound business development, agency sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in digital commerce or premium agency settings.
- Proven success in sales roles within EU markets, with experience in closing complex enterprise deals.
- Familiarity with the EU e-commerce ecosystem, including brands and platforms.
- Experience with Shopify Plus or similar DTC platforms is advantageous.
