We are seeking innovative individuals to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating a safer world through advanced electrical solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety standards.

The Role

You will engage in proactive safety methodologies, lead the ISO 45001 certification process, and supervise staff by assigning tasks and setting objectives aligned with company strategy. Additionally, you will manage incident reporting, drive investigations, and facilitate EHS objectives while supporting team leaders on safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Implement proactive safety measures and improvements as necessary.
• Lead the ISO 45001 certification implementation.
• Supervise staff: assign missions, distribute tasks, provide instructions, and set objectives based on company strategy.
• Oversee the incident reporting process and conduct investigations to determine root causes.
• Provide clear direction to facilitate EHS objectives.
• Monitor progress towards site safety and environmental goals.
• Assist Team Leaders and shift leaders with Environmental, Health, or Safety matters.
• Participate in and conduct Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement events.

Requirements

• A degree in safety, environment, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as an EHS Specialist or in a similar role.
• Preferable certifications such as MVK or HVK.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Relevant experience in a production environment.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in both Dutch and English.
