The Role

As the Engineering Manager, you will build and lead the Security Engineering function, starting with the Customer Identity team and expanding as needed. You will define operating models, manage security feature delivery, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Establish and scale a centralized Security Engineering team.
• Define operating models and collaborate on roadmaps for security engineering work.
• Hire and develop a team of security-focused software engineers.
• Lead the design and implementation of security product features across various platforms.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies and ensure accountability for security engineering commitments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building and managing engineering teams.
• Hands-on background in security engineering or software engineering with a security focus.
• Experience delivering security features in cloud or SaaS environments.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed systems.
• Strong ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs.
