Manage, control, and oversee the hotel’s financial administration.

Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date.

•

Prepare periodic financial reports, annual figures, P&L statements, and balance sheets.

•

Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide insights and recommendations.

•

Prepare management reports, forecasts, and budgets, discussing results with stakeholders.

•

Manage cash management and cash forecasting.

•

Optimize administrative organization and internal control processes.

•

Create awareness around financial risks and contribute to a strong risk management culture.

•

Manage the hotel’s insurance portfolio.

•

Oversee project accounting and CAPEX-related activities.

•

Prepare periodic tax returns and reports to relevant authorities.

•

Monitor applicable taxes to ensure correct calculation, recording, and timely payment.

•

Manage and control general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.

•

Collaborate with the General Manager, management team, ownership, accountants, and external partners.

•

Act as a key contact for financial matters, advising management and ownership.

•

Stay updated with developments in finance, taxation, and legislation, translating them into actions.

•

Contribute to achieving and exceeding financial, budgetary, and team objectives.

•

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance & Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field.

•

Proven experience in a financial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel environment.

•

Passion for finance and a drive to improve financial processes and performance.

•

Experience with SunSystems Cloud is an advantage, but not essential.

•

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with relevant financial systems is a plus.

•

Strong attention to detail and high accuracy with figures and reports.

•

Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain structure in a dynamic environment.

•

Ability to work independently, think analytically, and provide professional advice.

•

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.

•

Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound business decisions.

•
