Your mission as a Front of House Host is to be the welcoming face of our hostel, setting the tone and creating a vibrant atmosphere for our guests. You will not only manage check-ins and serve coffee, but you will also be the catalyst for social interactions, encouraging guests to participate in activities and make new friends.
Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and serving travelers with warmth and authenticity.

Work across various areas of the hostel, including the bar, check-in area, café, and breakfast service.

Assist guests during check-in, offering upgrades and fostering genuine connections.
•
Curate a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that encourages guests to engage with each other.
•
Upsell services naturally, promoting late checkouts, bar visits, and in-house events.
•
Address complaints and issues with empathy, ensuring guests feel supported.
•
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless guest experience.
•
Learn new skills, such as coffee making and problem-solving.
•
Support events and help travelers feel part of a larger community.
•
Share local insights and recommendations, assisting guests in booking experiences.
•
Ensure guests have memorable stays that lead to positive reviews.
