This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which handles all applications and next steps. Our partner is seeking a Growth Content Lead based in the Netherlands. This role offers the chance to lead an end-to-end content growth engine for a fast-moving product in the cryptocurrency and financial technology sector. You will set the overall content strategy, define the brand voice, and guide specialists across SEO, video, social, technical writing, and design.

The Role

You will connect content performance to measurable business outcomes, including organic acquisition, conversions, signups, and customer acquisition cost. A major focus will be translating complex crypto and tax concepts into clear, trustworthy, high-converting experiences for users. You will operate with significant autonomy, empowering a distributed team while continuously improving workflows, content quality, and channel performance. This is an opportunity to shape the narrative of a growing product while building a scalable, data-informed content operation.

Responsibilities

•

Lead the overall content strategy and operating model across written content, SEO, video, social, technical writing, and related channels.

•

Manage and mentor channel specialists, setting clear objectives and KPIs, providing feedback, removing blockers, and supporting professional development.

•

Own the editorial calendar, content pipeline, workflows, and resource allocation across writing, design, video, and other content functions.

•

Define, implement, and maintain a consistent tone of voice and editorial framework across articles, scripts, emails, social content, landing pages, and brand communications.

•

Aggregate channel performance and drive content-led growth, monitoring signups, conversion rates, organic acquisition, and customer acquisition cost.

•

Develop and execute lifecycle marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, automated onboarding sequences, and newsletters.

•

Lead communications for major product launches, product announcements, partner initiatives, and release updates.

•

Personally write and refine high-impact copy, including landing pages, lifecycle email sequences, brand messaging, PR communications, and thought-leadership content.

•

Work closely with SEO, video, social, technical writing, and design specialists to ensure content channels operate as a coordinated growth engine.

•

Translate complex cryptocurrency, tax, and technical concepts into accessible, persuasive, and trustworthy content.

•

Use analytics, search data, conversion performance, and customer insights to identify opportunities and direct team priorities.

•

Establish streamlined processes that allow specialists to operate autonomously while maintaining consistently high editorial standards.

•

Build and continuously improve the content growth strategy based on user intent, funnel performance, and measurable business outcomes.

•

Lead the initial 90-day priorities, including establishing the tone-of-voice framework, improving editorial workflows, auditing lifecycle and conversion content, and creating a performance baseline.

Requirements

•

5+ years of relevant experience in content marketing, growth content, product marketing, editorial strategy, or a closely related field.

•

Proven experience building or scaling a product-led content operation, preferably within an early-stage, scaling, founder-led, or B2C SaaS environment.

•

Deep, hands-on knowledge of cryptocurrency and Web3, including practical experience with wallets, exchanges, DeFi platforms, or related products.

•

Native or near-native English proficiency, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

•

Demonstrated ability to write high-converting copy, with a portfolio containing work such as landing pages, email sequences, educational content, or brand messaging.

•

Strong expertise in developing and enforcing a distinctive brand tone of voice across multiple content formats and channels.

•

Proven people-management and leadership experience, including managing content specialists, creators, or channel leads.

•

Strong understanding of SEO, search intent, organic acquisition, lifecycle marketing, conversion optimization, and content funnels.

•

Experience coordinating multiple content channels and aligning their performance toward shared acquisition and growth objectives.

•

Strong data literacy and familiarity with analytics, including tools such as GA4, search performance data, conversion metrics, and attribution.

•

Ability to translate complex technical or financial topics into clear, actionable, and persuasive content.

•

Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach and willingness to personally execute high-impact content work.

•

Excellent editorial judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

•

Ability to work with significant autonomy, make decisions quickly, and thrive in a high-velocity environment.

•

Experience in fintech, tax, personal finance, technical SaaS, or other product-led software environments is an advantage.

•

Experience taking content channels or products from early-stage development to measurable growth is a plus.
