At Terberg Group, we are united by our mission to provide top-tier solutions in the special vehicle market. The HR Division Director will be globally responsible for collaborating with the Special Vehicles Division to enhance organizational effectiveness through people processes.

The Role

You will develop and implement HR strategies and human capital plans tailored to the Special Vehicles organization. Additionally, you will drive global HR initiatives and ensure effective communication within the Division. This position is based in our Benschop, Netherlands office and requires 1-2 business travels per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Lead all people-related initiatives in the Special Vehicles organization in close collaboration with the Division Board and Global Group HR.
• Act as a strategic business partner, supporting the Division Board in analyzing and executing HR activities such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, and compensation & benefits.
• Collaborate with Group HR to design and implement global people initiatives.
• Support Terberg’s annual people processes, including employee engagement surveys and performance reviews.
• Foster a positive work culture aligned with company values and growth strategy.
• Develop and promote Terberg’s employer brand in partnership with Group HR.
• Enhance ways-of-working and toolkits for optimal HR support.
• Build relationships with key external partners to ensure high service levels.
• Collaborate with the wider Group HR organization to maintain a healthy and productive work environment.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience leading people across different countries.
• Strong understanding of HR practices and optimization of people processes.
• Experience managing a department or division and connecting with employees.
• Broad knowledge in HR areas such as Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, and Leadership Development.
• Experience in a matrix organization with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L.
• Hands-on experience with recruiting and employer branding.
• Proficient in consultative working.
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Experienced in working with senior leaders.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of other European languages is desirable.
