The Role

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our IP&IT Law team. This role is ideal for those with a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a legal firm or tech company who are passionate about intellectual property and IT law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal reviews of license and SaaS agreements, focusing on corporate software and core product software.
• Collaborate with local and commercial lawyers to assess IP terms in various agreements, including service and sales contracts.
• Manage IP outsourcing agreements with designers, photographers, and software developers to ensure compliance and protect our interests.
• Provide legal analysis and advice on a broad spectrum of IP-related issues, assisting in navigating complex legal landscapes.
• Address open-source matters, from license analysis to compliance implementation, advising business and engineering teams on best practices.
• Tackle other IP-related challenges as they arise, contributing to our strategic goals.

Requirements

• A legal degree from a top-tier university in the EU or the US.
• At least 3 years of post-graduate experience with legal firms or technology companies.
• Exceptional skills in contract drafting and legal writing, along with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven experience with IP-related transactions, including software development commissioning, technology licensing, and trademark issues.
