The Role

As a Transformation & Integration Intern, you will gain valuable experience in strategic initiatives that shape the future of European payments. You will work on M&A integration, corporate strategy, governance, and operating model design.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic transformation projects by coordinating initiatives related to M&A, partnerships, and governance alignment.
• Assist in strategic planning by consolidating inputs from business units for group-level plans and preparing materials for management and supervisory boards.
• Conduct research and analysis to benchmark operating models and summarize insights for decision-making.
• Prepare executive materials, crafting clear and impactful presentations for C-level and steering committees.
• Monitor progress by maintaining KPI dashboards and risk trackers for transformation programs.
• Contribute to special topics such as geographic expansion and organizational design.

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate in business, economics, finance, or related fields.
• Strong interest in corporate strategy, M&A, and transformation.
• Prior internship experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or financial services.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to structure ideas clearly.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2); additional European languages are a plus.
• Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup across borders; occasional travel (0–2 times per month).
