We are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to support our client in managing IT Operations, Workplace Services, and Infrastructure Management. This role involves the administration and optimization of Microsoft-based IT environments, ensuring high availability, stability, and information security.

The Role

You will be engaged in various activities, including Workplace Management, Active Directory, Azure, Software Distribution, and Identity & Access Management. You will work closely with stakeholders to align technical requirements and utilize modern Microsoft technologies and IT Service Management processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute workstation installations, rollouts, relocations, and deployments.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Execute software distribution and patch management activities.
• Manage user, role, and permission concepts, including account provisioning.
• Perform system administration and backup-related tasks.
• Analyze and resolve hardware and software incidents.
• Conduct activities within Incident, Request, and Change Management processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, installation guides, and process documentation.
• Configure and maintain allowlists and blocklists within the Zscaler security platform.
• Implement technical requirements according to defined security and compliance standards.

Information Security / Compliance

• Ensure adherence to information security requirements when working with privileged access rights.
• Comply with confidentiality obligations, contractual requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Follow established standards and frameworks such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
• Analyze and manage security-related events according to defined processes.
