In this role, you will be responsible for designing and securing the network infrastructure that supports industrial control systems, SCADA environments, and production operations worldwide. You will be central to a significant three-year initiative aimed at creating a robust separation between IT and OT networks, improving segmentation, standardizing infrastructure across various locations, and replacing outdated hardware. Your expertise will help shape the organization's direction in a mixed vendor landscape, particularly between Siemens and Cisco environments.

The Role

You will act as the connecting force between engineering, operations, and IT. You will take ownership of implementation, translating architectural concepts into practical standards that are applied on the factory floor. You will develop and maintain network standards and documentation, modernize legacy environments, and ensure the organization is audit-ready and cyber-resilient. You will report directly to the Director of IT/OT and collaborate with stakeholders across IT, OT, Digital, Technology, and Operations throughout the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure network infrastructure for industrial control systems and SCADA environments.
• Lead a major program covering over 40 production sites globally.
• Establish a clear separation between IT and OT networks and improve segmentation.
• Standardize infrastructure across diverse locations and replace end-of-life hardware.
• Develop and maintain network standards and documentation.
• Drive modernization of legacy environments and ensure cyber resilience.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in network engineering, with 3-5 years focused on OT, ICS, or SCADA network architecture.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Siemens industrial networking and Cisco knowledge.
• Comfortable with air-gapped or segmented architectures and managing security in critical production environments.
• Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443 is beneficial; hands-on production experience is prioritized.
• Cisco or Siemens networking certification is a plus.
