As a Java Performance Engineer, you will enhance performance-critical functionalities and drive performance testing. Collaborate with Senior Architects to implement architectural improvements and ensure the platform meets scalability and performance standards.
In this role, you will focus on rearchitecting performance-critical functionalities to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure strong scalability and performance. You will drive performance testing and investigate limitations to identify both short and long-term improvements and necessary changes. Additionally, you will implement future architectural enhancements of the platform and develop it to meet performance and scalability expectations while collaborating with Senior Architects on key initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a Java enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise in performance-related aspects.
- Proficient in SQL, with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience in building enterprise financial solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile and test-driven development methodologies.
- Experience working in a distributed global environment.
- Proficient in Java SE/JEE and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, integration patterns, and enterprise architectural concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Middleware, JMS, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Good understanding of web frontend technologies, including Angular v2+, Observables, and Redux.
- Competence in using REST APIs.
- Experience integrating with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, with knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, and Single Sign-On concepts.
- Ability to adapt and integrate open-source frameworks and technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Team player with a willingness to take responsibility.
- Passionate about software development.
