The European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights AISBL is offering a remote internship for a Junior Policy Researcher. This program is tailored for students, graduates, and early-career researchers interested in fields such as policy research, human rights, governance, and international relations.

The Role

Interns will receive structured guidance and supervision to enhance their research, analytical writing, and policy drafting skills. Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, preparing research summaries, and drafting a supervised research paper or policy brief.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on approved topics related to policy, law, human rights, or international relations.
• Prepare research summaries, issue notes, and analytical briefs.
• Participate in online supervision or guidance sessions as required.
• Draft a research paper, policy brief, or analytical report under supervision.
• Revise written work based on feedback and research standards.
• Meet agreed deadlines in a remote working environment.
• Adhere to ethical research practices, citation standards, and academic integrity.

Requirements

• Applicants may include Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral students.
• Recent graduates or alumni from recognized universities.

Prior research publication experience is not required. Selected candidates will undergo a four-week methodology training program, followed by a four-week research writing phase.
