We are seeking a proactive Lab Manager to oversee our laboratory operations at SeraNovo. This hands-on role is critical within our small, high-performance team, ensuring the lab operates efficiently so our scientists can tackle complex formulation challenges.

The Role

You will be responsible for the daily management and organization of laboratory operations, ensuring that equipment is well-maintained and functioning properly. You will manage the inventory of chemicals and supplies, order materials proactively to avoid delays, and build relationships with suppliers. Maintaining high safety and organization standards in the lab is essential, as is troubleshooting operational issues independently. Additionally, you will occasionally assist with simple laboratory tasks, which will comprise about 20% of your role.

Requirements

• Previous experience in managing laboratory operations in an industry or R&D setting
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate problems
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Comfortable working independently within a small team
• Practical and hands-on when necessary
