We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to take full ownership of our Maintenance Department at The Hoxton, Amsterdam. You will ensure the hotel is maintained to the highest standards while fully respecting local health and safety regulations and permits.

In this role, you will lead by example and guide your team to high performance by fostering a collaborative culture. You will genuinely care for our building, understanding that our guests expect prompt service. Your responsibilities include:

• Designing maintenance procedures and work methods.
• Planning and scheduling both planned and unplanned work.
• Responding immediately to emergencies and diagnosing unplanned problems.
• Arranging specialist procurement of materials and services.
• Organising maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
• Controlling maintenance costs and managing monthly budgets.
• Checking and calibrating plant and equipment for accuracy.
• Communicating closely with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Organising teams to ensure 24-hour cover is available.
• Maintaining a personable, engaging, and humorous demeanor.
