The Role

Manage, develop, coach, and mentor Premier Support Engineers who handle client requests, troubleshoot issues, and explore Datadog’s extensive integrations. Take ownership of your team’s accountability and performance, conducting performance reviews and managing employee relations for your direct reports. Collaborate with senior leadership to oversee projects aimed at improving productivity and processes. Work with internal teams and customers on high-priority escalations, providing resources to resolve issues as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in people management and mentorship, with a background in leading teams, including managing other managers.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager for continuous learning.
• Strong critical thinking skills with a client-centric approach, utilizing data for informed decision-making.
• Basic programming knowledge and familiarity with Linux.
• Active participation in open-source projects and the Engineering Community.
