Erasmus Enterprise in Rotterdam is looking for a Marketing and Communication Manager who is passionate about marketing and eager to help shape the vision of our organization. The Role

In this role, you will manage a marketing team consisting of a Producer and Content Creator, a Marketing & Communications Officer, an intern, and two student assistants. You will develop both short- and long-term marketing strategies, oversee budgets for various marketing channels, and create communication tools in collaboration with your team. You will also be responsible for executing and evaluating marketing campaigns for significant projects such as the Erasmus University Challenge and AI Pitch Competition, as well as managing our website and social media presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the marketing team and coordinate marketing strategies.
• Develop and manage budgets for different marketing channels.
• Create communication tools in collaboration with team members.
• Plan, execute, and assess marketing campaigns (online & offline) for major projects.
• Manage website and social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn) and public relations.
• Collaborate with affiliates and community members on marketing initiatives.
• Monitor trends and organize communication with stakeholders to enhance visibility.

Requirements

• Completed a marketing/communications degree at least at HBO level.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in an international context.
• Strong background in (online) marketing and brand management.
• Proficient in social media, SEO, and SEA.
• Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics.
• Affinity for design and experience with relevant software (CM, WordPress, Mailchimp, Photoshop).
• High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in corporate communication and branding.
• Proven track record in project management and team leadership.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on mentality with strong connecting skills.
• Proficient in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.

• Fixed-term contract for one year, with the potential for extension based on performance.

• Salary based on experience, ranging from €4,728 to €6,433 for full-time employment (scale 11).
