What We Do We manufacture pure silicon anode rolls that integrate seamlessly into existing battery production lines, enabling significant performance improvements and the creation of new product categories. Our initial focus is on consumer electronics, with automotive applications in development. Utilizing semiconductor thin-film technology, we have tackled the challenges of silicon in batteries, ensuring efficient and durable performance. Our PlantOne facility in Eindhoven, set to open in 2026, will produce anode rolls and validate our production equipment.
We seek a highly skilled Maintenance & Equipment Electrical Engineer to support the launch of our silicon anode factory in Eindhoven. In this role, you will oversee the installation of electrical systems, including utilities and power distribution, while maintaining and enhancing equipment performance, particularly for vacuum deposition systems.
What You Will Do You will lead electrical installations in compliance with Dutch regulations, ensuring installers and suppliers meet specifications. You will establish preventive and corrective maintenance programs for our deposition equipment, develop a spare parts strategy, and manage HVAC, compressed air, and process gas systems. Your role is hands-on, requiring you to troubleshoot equipment failures and actively participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Participate in the startup of Plant One, overseeing the operationalization of new utilities and equipment installation.
•
Collaborate with the Equipment Group on the new factory setup, while learning from existing operational equipment.
•
Ensure compliance with Dutch electrical regulations (e.g., NEN3140).
•
Optimize vacuum deposition systems through maintenance initiatives.
•
Lead projects aimed at enhancing uptime, reliability, and performance.
•
Maintain and improve technical documentation, procedures, and safety systems.
•
Develop a strategy for critical spare parts management.
•
Work closely with colleagues on maintenance and improvement plans.
•
Manage contracts and suppliers related to maintenance.
•
Ensure the performance of utility systems across the plant.
•
Comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
•
Provide technical support for future factory construction and engineering projects, aligning designs with maintenance and performance needs.
•
Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
•
Extensive experience with industrial installations or machine building.
•
Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and P&IDs, with experience in PLC systems.
•
Fluency in Dutch for communication with installers and inspectors, and comfortable in English.
•
Initiative and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
•
Experience with vacuum technology, EPLAN, Siemens or Pilz systems, ATEX, HAZOP, and FMEA is a plus but not required.
•
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
•
Minimum of 5 years in an industrial environment.
•
Strong knowledge of electrical and safety regulations.
•
Understanding of electrical design and logic.
•
Experience with PLC programming and process flow diagrams.
•
Comfortable in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
•
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
•
Established industrial network in the Eindhoven region.
•
Familiarity with vacuum systems (e.g., PECVD, CVD).
•
Knowledge of installation engineering and CE/ATEX requirements.
•
Experience with EPLAN and Siemens/Pilz PLCs.
•
Familiarity with CMMS or asset management tools.
•
Experience with risk analyses (FMEA, HAZOP).
•
Knowledge of industrial automation (PLCs, IIoT, HMI, SCADA, etc.).
•
