Tolvac Therapeutics is a Utrecht University spinout developing a tolerogenic nanoparticle platform for autoimmune disease, aiming for drug-free remission for patients reliant on lifelong immunosuppression. Initially operating from university laboratory facilities, the company is building toward independent operations.

We are seeking a Founding COO to collaborate with the CEO in building the company, taking charge of laboratory operations, external development partnerships, and overall execution. This position focuses on R&D operations rather than commercial or manufacturing aspects. We need someone eager to establish lab and operational infrastructure from scratch at a pre-seed biotech, rather than managing an existing organization. The role is about creating the operational foundation that will facilitate the efficient transition of our science from the lab to the clinic, allowing the CEO to concentrate on scientific leadership and fundraising.
