As we expand our operations, we seek an Operations and Control Center (OCC) Operator to ensure our operational excellence.

The Role

As an OCC Operator, you will oversee the safe and reliable 24/7 operations of our battery energy storage assets across Europe. This role requires shift work and involves significant responsibilities, including:

•

Ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all Return BESS assets, responding to alarms, incidents, and deviations per established protocols.

•

Participating in shift rotations to maintain continuous coverage.

•

Acting as the first point of contact during critical incidents, coordinating response efforts and communication with stakeholders.

•

Providing insights through reporting to different stakeholders.

•

Contributing to the operational knowledge of the team through training, documentation, and sharing learnings.

Requirements

•

Strong safety mindset.

•

MBO level of thinking.

•

Over 5 years of 24/7 experience in control rooms, technical operations, or process operations.

•

Ability to remain calm under pressure with clear decision-making skills during incidents.

•

Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (written and verbal).

•

Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring platforms.

•

Willingness to work in a shift rotation, including nights and weekends.

•

Right to work in the Netherlands without employer sponsorship.

•

Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands (relocation not provided).
