A major financial enterprise is expanding its Go development capabilities within the Developer Self Service Platform (DSSP) team. This platform automates service discovery and keeps the CMDB synchronized across CI/CD tools and the broader application landscape, directly supporting approximately 3,000 developers in their onboarding process. The team seeks a Go Developer to enhance its engineering capabilities and actively participate in architectural decisions, beyond just delivery.

You will join the SOLO team, working on DSSP: a suite of Go microservices central to how developers onboard and interact with the organization’s CI/CD tools. This role blends hands-on backend development with meaningful input into technical direction, in a team committed to growing its Go expertise. Based in the Netherlands, with a platform that reaches thousands of internal users, this is an opportunity to work on infrastructure that has a visible, daily impact.

You will:

•

Design, build, and maintain backend microservices in Go, primarily using gin and related frameworks.

•

Contribute to architecture decisions and technical enhancements alongside engineers, product owners, and stakeholders.

•

Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation.

•

Identify and resolve performance and reliability issues, backed by solid testing and code review practices.

Wie ben jij?

•

3-5 years of experience in software development with Go (Golang).

•

Strong experience in building backend API services.

•

Familiarity with shell scripting and at least one additional programming language such as Python or Java.

•

A systematic, structured approach to problem-solving.

•

Comfortable collaborating closely within a team environment.
