Draag als dermatoloog bij aan complexe zorg met focus op inflammatoire huidziekten. In het UMC Utrecht combineer je patiëntenzorg met een actieve rol in onderwijs en toonaangevend dermatologisch onderzoek binnen een academische omgeving.
De Rol
Als Dermatoloog in het UMC Utrecht werk je op het snijvlak van patiëntenzorg, opleiden en klinisch en translationeel onderzoek. Je maakt als staflid deel uit van de afdeling Dermatologie en levert een actieve bijdrage aan de opleidingsgroep Dermatologie en binnen de onderzoekslijn ‘Ontstekingsziekten van de Huid’. In deze rol draag je bij aan zowel de dagelijkse zorg voor patiënten als aan de academische kerntaken van het UMC Utrecht. Je gaat onder andere:
•
Poliklinische zorg verlenen aan volwassenen en kinderen met uiteenlopende dermatologische aandoeningen;
•
Actief bijdragen aan de academische opleiding van coassistenten en A(N)IOS met als specifieke speerpunten ontstekingsziekten van de huid, kinderdermatologie en allergologie;
•
Meewerken aan de verdere uitbreiding en profilering van de onderzoekslijn ‘Ontstekingsziekten van de Huid’;
•
Promovendi begeleiden en ondersteunen in hun onderzoeksactiviteiten;
•
Samenwerken met collega’s binnen en buiten de afdeling, onder meer met het Centrum voor Translationele Immunologie en het Julius Centrum;
•
Bijdragen aan de verdere profilering van de afdeling als expertisecentrum voor eczeem en andere inflammatoire huidziekten.
