The Role

As materials are a core element of Róhe’s products, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Junior Fabric Buyer to oversee the fabric sampling and development process. You will collaborate closely with Design and Development to ensure that fabric selections are efficiently followed up with samples, prices, availability, and all relevant information in place. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and timely fabric follow-up process, working directly with mills and suppliers.

Responsibilities

•

Manage the fabric sampling process from initial Design selection to sampling approval.

•

Follow up with mills and suppliers on samples, prices, availability, lead times, minimums, and fabric specifications.

•

Arrange for sampling fabrics to be sent to designated manufacturers, ensuring the correct fabrics are available at the right time.

•

Coordinate sample orders and shipments, proactively following up on delays or outstanding actions.

•

Ensure all selected fabrics are quoted, and all relevant information is accurately recorded in follow-up files and systems.

•

Work closely with Design and Development on fabric selections, alternatives, qualities, and colorways.

•

Maintain the fabric library, ensuring samples are correctly labeled and organized.

•

Prepare approved fabrics for bulk production, ensuring all commercial, technical, supplier, and logistical information is complete and accurate.

•

Ensure a clear and complete handover into bulk, with no outstanding information or open actions.
