The Role

We are seeking an experienced and meticulously organized Dog Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide top-notch care for our clients' furry companions, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being while their owners are away. A genuine love for animals, excellent time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential.

Responsibilities

•

Provide feeding, watering, and general care tailored to each dog's specific needs and schedule.

•

Administer medications or special diets as required.

•

Engage in playtime and exercise, including walks, fetch, and other activities suitable for the dog’s breed and energy level.

•

Monitor dogs for health issues or behavioral changes and report promptly to pet owners.

•

Ensure the safety of all dogs by maintaining a secure environment and following leash and harness protocols during walks.

•

Conduct regular safety checks of all areas where dogs are kept to prevent escape or injury.

•

Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, such as illness or injury.

•

Clean up after dogs, including waste disposal, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

•

Regularly clean and disinfect feeding bowls, bedding, and play areas.

•

Maintain open communication with pet owners regarding their dog’s status, behavior, and any issues that arise.

•

Provide daily updates through text, email, or photos as requested by pet owners.

•

Offer transportation to and from veterinary or grooming appointments if needed.

•

Provide additional services such as basic training reinforcement, bathing, or grooming (if qualified and agreed upon).
