The Safety and Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of FLOW Curacao's business operations through the assessment, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of safety and security systems, as well as company information and data. This position reports to the Manager of Corporate and Facility Services and is responsible for developing and implementing safety and business continuity policies. The officer ensures the proper functioning of security systems and the safety of company information and data, operating within established policy guidelines. The officer independently decides on the implementation of safety and business continuity policies, methodologies for analysis and assessment, and maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems.
Requirements:

HBO degree
•
2-3 years of experience in a similar role
•
Additional diplomas and certificates in safety and security are prerequisites
•
Knowledge of Business Continuity Management, business security, and surveillance
•
Familiarity with Safety and Security Rules and Regulations
•
Understanding of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures for effective security operations
•
Knowledge of electronic security systems
•
Ability to implement and maintain an emergency response plan
•
Strong problem sensitivity and quick decision-making skills
•
Excellent communication, reporting, presentation, and training skills
•
Ability to handle stressful situations
•
Proactive and alert attitude
