AXA XL is an Equal Opportunity Employer. As a Team Lead in the Property, Energy and Construction team, you will oversee the underwriting operations within the mid-market property portfolio, ensuring profitability and compliance with the company's business plan and guidelines.
The Role
You will manage the property portfolio, underwrite international and domestic accounts, and develop strong relationships with brokers and clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing underwriting operations within the mid-market property portfolio, focusing on profitability and retention.

Underwriting new and existing accounts, adhering to guidelines and strategies.
•
Leading and fostering relationships with brokers, clients, and market players to build a robust network.
•
Overseeing portfolio management and its interaction with the wider property portfolio.
•
Representing AXA XL at external events and promoting our values and services.
•
Collaborating with key departments to enhance cross-sale processes and opportunities.
•
Developing strategic relationships and acting as an escalation point for partners.
•
Leading and managing a team of underwriters, providing guidance and support.
•
Ensuring timely implementation of new and renewed accounts according to quality standards.
•
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across key functions.
