FERO is a fast-growing Dutch fintech based in Amsterdam, Spain, and the UK, seeking to establish a robust operational backbone to support its expansion.

De Rol

We are searching for a Head of Operations to manage the critical functions that keep our fintech running smoothly: accounts, HR, financial reporting, and central management information (MI). This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for outcomes in these areas rather than merely coordinating tasks for others.

You will report directly to the CEO and have direct reports from the outset. As FERO grows beyond 50 employees, you will play a key role in developing the reporting, financial, and people infrastructure necessary for the next phase of growth.

Wat je gaat doen

•

Take ownership of financial reporting across the organization, collaborating closely with our accounting teams in the Netherlands, US, and UK.

•

Oversee reconciliation and financial reporting through our Senior Reconciliation Analyst.

•

Manage HR policies, processes, and people operations.

•

Design and implement central management information (MI) systems: consolidated reports and dashboards that provide a single source of truth across finance, people, and operations.

•

Work closely with the CEO on cross-functional priorities, offering operational insights and ensuring decisions are executed effectively.

•

Identify and address process gaps as FERO scales, from onboarding to reporting cadence and decision rights.

•

Navigate Dutch, Spanish, and UK operations, ensuring compliance with multi-jurisdiction labor laws.
