Le Boat, a member of Travelopia, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hindeloopen, Friesland. This permanent position is perfect for those eager to start their careers or experienced technicians seeking new challenges. As part of our team, you will be crucial in readying our boat yard for the upcoming season.
Responsibilities:
•
Receive boats and prepare them for winter and spring commissioning.
•
Manage fall hauling and stock the marine shop.
•
Maintain fleet standards for customer satisfaction and reliability.
•
Ensure boats are in excellent condition for presentation.
•
Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules.
•
Gain hands-on experience in installing electrical and mechanical equipment, including small fiberglass repairs (training provided).
•
Collaborate with the Head Tech & Base Manager to prioritize tasks effectively.
•
Be prepared for emergency repairs at off-site locations during the season.
•
Participate in hauling/launching, commissioning, de-commissioning, and gas dock operations as needed.
•
Conduct mechanical maintenance and repairs on 36 and 45ft fiberglass boats, addressing technical issues related to pumps, batteries, diesel engines, electrical, propane, and hydraulic systems.
