Odfjell Drilling is continuously looking for skilled and motivated offshore Electronic Technicians to join our Competence Pool. This dedicated workforce supports our offshore operations by providing qualified personnel to our rig fleet as operational needs arise. Qualifications Requirements

•

Formal education in engineering automation, electronics, and computer systems, or equivalent relevant competence.

•

Additional competence in electrical installations in hazardous areas (Ex), rules and regulations, and system training specific to the position.

•

Documented relevant experience from offshore/maritime operations.

Duties/Responsibilities

•

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of control systems, instrumentation, navigation, communication systems, and associated equipment on the unit.

•

Ensure procedures for maintenance follow-up of rig gauges, test equipment, etc. are performed.

•

Participate in multi-disciplinary maintenance execution.

•

Maintain housekeeping in the electronic workshop and other areas of responsibility.

•

Install new electronic equipment.

•

Control and integrate equipment for service companies into the rig systems.

•

Update and report “red mark-up” documentation related to onboard electrical systems and installations/equipment.

•

Execute planned/preventative maintenance in accordance with the company's maintenance program and ensure updates in the electronic maintenance system.

•

Hold professional responsibility onboard for operation, maintenance, and repair of systems within the area of responsibility.

•

Ensure work is carried out safely and professionally, adhering to safety provisions in regulations and company/operator standards.

•

Ensure insulation/isolation from electrical or electronic equipment is performed in accordance with the Permit to Work (PtW) system.

•

Contribute to maintaining stock of consumables, parts, and tools necessary for maintenance within the area of responsibility.
