This position is offered on behalf of a partner company that handles all applications and next steps. Our partner seeks a Senior Manual QA Engineer (SEO Focus) located in the Netherlands. In this fast-scaling product and technology environment, you will ensure the stability, performance, and accuracy of frontend features with a strong focus on SEO-critical functionality. The role combines hands-on manual testing with in-depth analytical work across web architecture, rendering, and indexing behavior. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to validate requirements, identify issues early, and maintain production quality. Understanding how frontend changes affect search visibility, crawling, and user experience at scale is crucial. This collaborative and detail-oriented position allows you to directly influence product visibility and performance in global markets.

Verantwoordelijkheden

•

Analyze technical requirements and engage in task discussions to clarify expected functionality and edge cases.

•

Create detailed test documentation, including checklists, test cases, and structured test scenarios for web and frontend features.

•

Perform functional, regression, and acceptance testing across web applications, focusing on frontend behavior and SEO impact.

•

Validate deployments in test and production environments to ensure smooth releases and system stability.

•

Analyze test runs, maintain existing test documentation, and continuously enhance testing coverage and processes.

•

Support bug tracking throughout the STLC lifecycle, ensuring clear reporting, follow-up, and resolution.

•

Conduct demos and provide constructive feedback and insights to development, product, and other stakeholders.

•

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve production issues effectively.

Vereisten

•

5+ jaar ervaring in handmatige QA-rollen, bij voorkeur gericht op webapplicaties of frontend testen.

•

Sterk begrip van client-serverarchitectuur, webtechnologieën, HTML en CSS.

•

Ervaring met het testen van webapplicaties met sterke aandacht voor detail en gestructureerde testontwerptechnieken.

•

Vermogen om duidelijke en uitgebreide testdocumentatie (testgevallen, checklists, functionele beschrijvingen) te creëren.

•

Ervaring met DevTools en versiebeheersystemen zoals Git, evenals CI/CD-tools zoals Jenkins of GitLab.

•

Sterke analytische mindset met het vermogen om problemen in complexe webomgevingen te identificeren.

•

Bekendheid met Agile-methodologieën en tools zoals Jira en Confluence.

•

Bonus: Ervaring in iGaming of digitale producten met veel verkeer.

•

Bonus: Begrip van SEO-principes zoals crawlen, indexeren, schema markup, serverreacties, SSR en de impact van rendering op zoekzichtbaarheid.
