We are seeking a Residence Service & Housekeeping Assistant to join the Residence Team at the British Ambassador's Residence. This role is essential for the smooth operation of the household and the successful execution of official and private events.

The Role

As a Residence Service & Housekeeping Assistant, you will maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the Residence, ensuring that private quarters, representational rooms, and guest areas are always welcoming and well-presented.

Responsibilities

•

Maintain cleanliness and presentation in private, representational, and guest areas of the Residence.

•

Perform daily and ad hoc housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, waste disposal, and general tidiness.

•

Ensure the Residence is organized and ready for residents and guests.

•

Wash, dry, and iron clothing, linen, towels, and guest items as needed.

•

Manage linen stocks and household supplies, ensuring appropriate levels.

•

Support official and private events through preparation and guest service.

•

Professionally welcome guests and manage visitor protocols in the absence of the Residence Manager.

•

Report maintenance issues to maintain safety and functionality.

•

Handle incoming calls and respond to routine inquiries as required.

•

Provide coverage for other staff during absences and undertake additional duties as requested.
