Role Description As the Head Bartender, you will oversee bar operations in a dynamic setting, preparing and serving a wide range of beverages while ensuring high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include training bar staff, managing inventory and cash handling, and delivering exceptional customer service to guests. You will support events with customized beverage offerings and collaborate with the hospitality team to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, you will assist in developing drink menus and uphold safety and hygiene standards while embodying the values of Meet Berlage through your professional conduct. ## Vereisten - Strong customer service and communication skills to engage guests and support a diverse community. - Solid bartending and food & beverage knowledge, including drink mixing and menu understanding. - Accurate cash handling and point-of-sale experience for transaction management. - Previous experience in a bar, café, or hospitality setting, ideally in high-traffic or event-driven environments. - Leadership abilities to supervise staff and foster a team-oriented workplace. - Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations for compliant bar operations. - Good spoken and written English skills; Dutch is a plus. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during events as needed. - Formal bar or hospitality training, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
