The Senior Systems Engineer - Technical Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the customers Technical Action Group (TAG), which acts as the central hub for the Directorate. This position is crucial for maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the customer's posture to address the evolving mission needs of our diverse Customers and Partners.

Responsibilities

•

Support the Technical Sensitive Activities Program.

•

Provide essential technical and mission expertise to Directorate leadership while managing day-to-day operations and acting as a liaison among executives, directorate offices, and User Engagement Teams.

•

Assist the MID Front Office (FO) in all business functions to ensure the efficient execution of the directorate’s mission and responsibilities of senior leadership.

•

Prepare and deliver briefings, data, and information to keep the MID FO informed for senior-level meetings.

•

Offer senior executive support, including writing point papers, documenting meeting minutes and action items, and creating PowerPoint presentations for various MID events and reviews.

•

Develop a monthly roadmap and annual strategy for engaging MID senior leadership based on customer leadership plans and MID strategic guidance.

•

Facilitate MID senior leadership exchanges and draft executive correspondence.

•

Cultivate in-depth knowledge of key partners supported by MID.

•

Synthesize information from MID entities into coherent responses for communications and business documentation.

•

Conduct technical reviews and prepare all MID correspondence packages to ensure compliance with NRO administrative standards and technical accuracy.

•

Create and maintain executive-level reports.

Required:

•

12 to 15 years of experience with a BS, 10 to 13 years with an MS, or 10+ years with a Ph.D. in a STEM field.

•

Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

•

Expertise in the customer’s mission technical capabilities, with experience in analysis and assessments.

•

Familiarity with Mission Planning, Control, or Processing functions supporting space and ground architecture.

•

Strong business acumen and the ability to engage professionally with customers and various internal and external mission partners.
