Community Manager at beyond

The Role

In the role of Community Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your building, ensuring day-to-day success and leading the on-site team. You will report directly to the Community Director and collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Real Estate, and central support teams.

Leadership & Management

•

Lead, manage, and develop the Community Team, ensuring strong daily support, clear accountability, and high performance.

•

Motivate and guide the team across key business areas, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

Sales

•

Collaborate with the Sales Team to meet monthly revenue and occupancy targets.

•

Manage the full sales cycle at the building level, including tours, proposals, onboarding, renewals, pricing adjustments, and growth discussions.

•

Oversee HubSpot pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting and follow-up.

•

Actively manage member relationships to enhance retention and reduce churn.

•

Co-initiate and co-host broker events, referral initiatives, and lead-generation activities.

•

Identify and implement new commercial initiatives for future growth.

Member Experience

•

Own the overall member experience and relationships with key and strategic accounts.

•

Serve as the primary escalation point and final decision-maker on policies and procedures.

•

Resolve complex member issues, including terminations, with professionalism and empathy.

•

Monitor, analyze, and act on member satisfaction KPIs, including Net Promoter Score (NPS).

•

Develop and implement building-specific action plans to enhance member satisfaction.

•

Lead member communication regarding business updates, process changes, and company initiatives.

Operations

•

Ensure that beyond’s high-quality operational standards are consistently met and improved.

•

Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, managing onboarding and ongoing relationships.

•

Hold vendors accountable to service levels and operational standards.

•

Collaborate with Asset Managers, Landlords, and the Real Estate team to manage building-related escalations.

•

Maintain full accountability for building-level operating expenses (Opex).

Finance

•

Own the building P&L and overall financial performance in partnership with the Finance Department.

•

Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting processes.

•

Identify and implement financial optimization initiatives.

•

Oversee membership fee collection, payment issues, late payments, and fee increases.

Basic Qualifications

•

5+ years of experience in hospitality, marketing, multi-unit retail, startups, finance, consulting, commercial real estate, or similar fields.

•

Strong customer service background and sales experience.

•

2+ years of experience managing teams of individual contributors.

•

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•

Strong project management and business operations experience.

•

Fluency in English (written and spoken).
