Als 2e Machinist op Jack Ups ben je een sleutelspeler in het onderhoud en de operatie van onze geavanceerde jack-up schepen, essentieel voor offshore windmoleninstallaties en andere maritieme projecten. Je waarborgt de optimale staat van technische apparatuur en systemen aan boord, zodat het team zijn taken veilig en efficiënt kan uitvoeren.
De Rol
Als 2e Machinist draai je zelfstandig de wacht en neem je taken over van de 1e machinist wanneer nodig. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de staat en het onderhoud van de technische installaties aan boord, evenals het bedienen en onderhouden van het jacking systeem. Je leidt het onderhoud, de foutopsporing en de verbetering van systemen, van pompen tot nozzles, en zorgt ervoor dat alles op topniveau draait. Je zet je in voor de veiligheid van je team en het milieu door strikte veiligheidsprotocollen en regelgeving na te leven, zodat de operaties altijd veilig en verantwoord worden uitgevoerd. Je werkt nauw samen met de Hoofd Machinekamer, eerste Machinist en je crew om ervoor te zorgen dat elk aspect van de operatie soepel verloopt. Daarnaast houd je alle operationele gegevens bij, verstrek je waardevolle rapporten over de prestaties van de apparatuur en help je bij het identificeren en oplossen van eventuele problemen die zich voordoen.
